Stormy Weather

Yesterday was a blustery day as the storm front was moving our way. The fun part for me is seeing the dark shadows formed by passing clouds with the sun peeking through the gaps in ribbons of light. Since we often have blank skies, I welcome the storm clouds as a photographer because they make the sky (and our photos) look more interesting.

These two photos were snapped yesterday by recent Riverside resident Andrew Brown while he was out walking his dogs. I'm thrilled since he is the first person to submit a photo.

And so today it rained. When the storm broke we were left with another beautifully cloudy sky just in time for sunset.
