If you walk along the promenade downtown, you will come across many statues that are intended to represent our diversity, including one of the Indian independence fighter, Mahatma Gandhi. The nine foot bronze memorial honors the man who emphasized non violent means of civil disobedience.
A few of his famous quotes are engraved in the stones leading up to the statue.
